Baltimore photographer Joe Giordano will moderate a discussion with fellow photographers from around the country about the history of photographing protest\, the importance of being witness to the Black Lives Matter movement\, and more. Registration required; free for members/$5 for non-members.  \nRegister here. \nThe Photographers: \nSheila Pree Bright is an Atlanta-based\, award-winning photographer best known for her works Plastic Bodies\, Suburbia\,Young Americans and her most recent series #1960Now. Sheila is the author of #1960Now: Photographs of Civil Rights Activist and Black Lives Matter Protest published by Chronicle Books. See her work at www.sheilapreebright.com. \nRob Ferrell is a Baltimore-based artist\, archivist\, and community organizer. Rob is dedicated to visually archiving the Movement for Black Lives during his lifetime. The exhibition tells the stories of nine people who ran away from enslavement or servitude in Maryland from the Colonial era to the Civil War. \n
