SUMMARY:Film Screening: Always in Season
DESCRIPTION:Always in Season examines the case of Lennon Lacy\, an African American teen who was found hanging in North Carolina\, in 2014. Despite the death being ruled as a suicide\, Lennon’s mother\, Claudia\, believes he was lynched. Claudia moves from paralyzing grief to leading the fight for justice for her son. A post discussion will follow with  Dr. David Fakunle (Chair of the Maryland Truth & Reconciliation  Commission MLTRC) and  Dr. Charles Chavis (School of Conflict Analysis and Resolution S-CAR\, George Mason University).
